It’s that time of year again where the Wedding Blog Awards nominations are open! This year there’s 16 categories that include some from the previous years and some new categories. Ironically enough one of the new categories is ‘Best Multicultural Blog.’
Now I know I haven’t won previously but you always have to try, right? I always state that Secret Wedding Blog is a multicultural, fusion and interfaith wedding blog and it’s remained true to my niche. The blog features weddings from all over the world, covering a range from cultures, religions and traditions. Examples include a Fijian Welsh wedding, a 5 day Indian-Vietnamese wedding in Thailand to a Pakistani Fusion wedding in Italy. The list is endless. There are so many gorgeous weddings I’ve shared on the blog and will continue to share these blends of cultures.
How to nominate?
As an added incentive, one lucky nominator will receive a beauty hamper, worth over £75 (and containing goodies from the likes of Urban Decay, Airbase, Carmex and more).
Terms and Conditions
Voting closes at 11.59pm on 11 August 2016 and a shortlist of bloggers for each category will be announced shortly afterwards. Readers will be encouraged to vote for their favourites from the shortlist. Winners announced at the awards ceremony in October. Winners will be selected based on votes and the Wedding panel. The editor’s decision is final. The winner of the beauty hamper will be notified via email.
Just a quick note to say thanks again for all your support, you loyal readers, you new readers, the readers who email me with wonderful compliments and those who ask for advice. I set this blog up to fill a gap in the market by focusing on multicultural fusion and interfaith weddings and I’ve reaped the rewards by your support.
Another thank you for Wedding for including this type of category within the awards. Even if I don’t get shortlisted, I’m glad Wedding have brought awareness and recognised these gorgeous weddings in their own category.
All my love
