You know what time it is guys, it’s wedding season! Obviously it’s my favourite time of the year, the days are longer, it’s warming up and I no longer have to wear a million layers to keep warm. And wedding season has well and truly started. I say it every year and nothing’s changed now, so much wedding talk and I’m very much in my element.
I have a few weddings this year (hooray) which means I need to buy several outfits. This is a great problem to have, I wouldn’t even call it a problem. Any excuse to go shopping is a gift in my eyes. As you can imagine I’ve spent a lot of time browsing online and in the shops and I’ve found that Karen Millen have really upped their game. They have so many amazing dresses this season and I’m sharing some of my favourites below:
Have you noticed that I love a bit of yellow? It’s all over my flat and is creeping into my clothes. Which is no surprise to why this floral maxi dress is on my list. Perfect for an outdoor summer wedding.
This floral maxi dress just shouts ‘wear me to a wedding’. Pair the dress with heels or flats and minimal jewellery. The pattern on the dress means that you can keep it simple and doesn’t require jewellery to dress it up.
Gah! This dress and it’s flattering fitted silhouette, high, intricate neckline and cap sleeves come together so beautifully. That pale green colour is divine and also comes in a neutral colour for those who want less colour.
Oh look what colour has made its way onto the list again. A midi dress is such a beautiful dress, they always come across so elegant in my eyes. As it’s a one colour dress, you have the option to wear with a pair of sandals and dress up or down with jewellery.
How unique is this dress? It’s so elegant and you’ll have people asking about who the dress designer is. The gentle frill contrasts with the fitted shape of this dress and it’s one that I’d select, especially as it distracts from your bust size. And I’m all for that, personally.
Loving the shades of pink, peach and yellow in this sleeveless floral dress. It features a pleated skirt with keyhole detail in the neckline. Wear with a pair of nude sandals and it’ll make your legs go on for days!
Not so keen on the above dress? Well how about a jumpsuit in the same style instead? I love a jumpsuit – they’re comfortable and effortless which is why this is on my list. One or two colour jumpsuits are quite popular but this floral one is a rare find.
Sophistication at it’s best. Can you see yourself slaying a wedding by wearing this cropped lace jumpsuit? The ruffled neckline goes well with it’s flattering waist. Pair with some sandals and a clutch bag and you’re well on your way to making an impression at your next wedding.
Feel romantic in this elegant vintage-inspired midi dress. I feel it looks like something Kate Middleton would wear, what’d you think? If not, pair with a suede ankle boots and a leather bag for a confident look this wedding season.
What do you think of these wedding dresses and jumpsuits? Do any catch your eye, let me know below. I’m off to make a large purchase…0
