Sofia and Nuno got married on September 14th. 10 years and one month after they’ve started dating in front of Bonitos, at Oporto. They got married at Serralves, with their friends and family that gave them a dream wedding in a princess house (as Sofia said). I received this engagement of Zulfa and Fahad from Terry Li photography and was excited to reveal in photographs how Islamic engagement ceremonies work. Terry arrived at the house just before Zulfa getting ready and started documenting how everyone is busy preparing for the food and the day! She Captured some details of Zulfa’s beautiful jewellery and her family member’s dresses - they are all very colourful! The sisters are the first to greet the guest followed by Zulfa, the bride to be who then greats the guests in the marquee. An important moment according to the culture/religion is the time to exchange words. Zulfa has to whisper her wishes to her uncle and then he passes it on to Fahad. Congratulations on the engagement and now the exciting part happens, a wedding and a marriage!
Nichole and Josh’s wedding took place at The Ancient Spanish Monastery in Miami, Florida. It’s one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve seen. Everything complimented each other. Nichole’s wedding dress is so pretty and the bridesmaids dresses colours are such lovely shades of blush pink. Their cream bouquets of roses match the dresses so well as it highlights both colours. My favourite photo of the groom and the groomsmen is the one where they are all laughing, they look so great in their matching suits, with Josh’s bow tie being the odd one out of course.
