Kati and Sanjeev have been together for four years. They met in a bar in London and were introduced through a mutual friend, who then was a bridesmaid on the day. They wanted their wedding to be full of fun and laughter, enjoyed with their family and closest friends. The theme was country vintage, with a lot of whites and subtle shades of light pink and lilac. The bride would describe the style as “contemporary Indian meets Italian country chic!”
This is a multicultural destination wedding, where the groom is Indian and the bride has German parents but grew up in Ireland. They currently both live in the UK and travelled to Tuscany for their wedding. Tuscany is a very popular destination wedding location because it’s just so pretty. The location and temperature are bound to result in the perfect beautiful day emphasised in those all important wedding photographs. They had a Hindu religious ceremony during which they wore traditional Indian lengha and looks truly incredible! Their ceremony was then followed by an aperitif by the pool.
Before the dinner, they both changed into western clothing. Sanjeev changed into a suit and Kati changed into an Ivory gown and had a lovely cream floral bouquet. Kati mentioed that emotions were very mixed on the day. “Initially it was very stressful but culminated in one of the best days of our lives. It was very special being able to spend this day with the people closest to us.”
