Introducing Fusion Wedding Planner: Pretti Gracy Weddings and Events

Today we have a styled shoot for the launch of Pretti Gracy Weddings and Events. Nillie got in touch with me as she is a fusion wedding planner and wanted to connect with Secret Wedding Blog as the blog is She tells us about the styled shoot:

“The shoot was apart of the Pretti Gracy launch at the end of July and we thought there was no better way to celebrate than with a shoot.  We wanted to showcase talent within the Midlands and wanted to use Indian and English suppliers.

The look we went for was opulence, bright, pretty and vibrant with a hint of vintage chic.  We wanted to set a rich but modern tone by using the latest fashion trends and styling.

Colours: Pink, peach, coral, mint, teal, gold.

We had the bride in the teal with the bridesmaids in the pink/orange outfits.  We used unique styling on the bride by wrapping her sari around her neck and using a waist belt as an accessory.  At the end of the shoot we wanted to capture the moment when girls go home and undo their hair and unwind, after a long day celebrating. (I find myself doing this after every wedding I go to!)

The naked cake was designed by Green Kitchen Cakes, decorated with berries and jam- something I thought was new to the Indian weddings and really on trend at the moment.

The gorgeous stationery was designed by Eagle Eyed Bride-they designed the invitations with Indian brides in mind and are absolutely gorgeous.

The Indian sweets were designed by Super Sweet Mart.  They are barfi made to look so pretty to show modern brides you can still have traditional Indian sweets but made to look gorgeous and to match your wedding style.”
