When I saw this Multicultural Christian wedding shot by Kayleigh Pope – it was definitely one for the blog. I’ve followed Kayleigh’s work for a while since setting up the blog and have always admired how she shoots weddings. Being a Coventry girl (where I was born and where my grandparents live), she is a talented photographer with sassy style!
Rav and Simon got married on a beautifully sunny May day. Rav wore a beautiful white/cream lengha that had detail all over the skirt and chunni. I always enjoy seeing how brides and grooms put their own spin on fusion weddings. As Rav and Simon had a Christian wedding, Rav opted for a white/cream lengha instead of a white wedding dress. I love this, because she is combining her Indian culture into her wedding topped off with a beautiful tikka.
Their wedding took place at St.James’ Church in Bulkington and their reception followed at Ashton Lodge. Both of their faces are so sweet after they were pronounced man and wife! The colour of the bridesmaids dresses looks incredible against Rav’s lengha and Simon’s attire.
