This outdoor Indian Christian fusion wedding is one that I simply had to share with you all. I firstly saw the photographs taken by Aaroneye Photography and immediately I was hooked. I enjoyed seeing the blend of western and eastern traditions in this wedding which was put together so elegantly with a modern approach. And when you see the videography giving you more details of Maxine and Dhruv’s wedding day, you are left feeling emotions of happiness and full of love. When I see and hear couples expressing their love for one another, it makes me so emotional, happy emotions of course. It makes sharing these types of weddings so enjoyable and exciting!
From the photographer:
Langham Pasadena was such a beautiful place and I really love working with this couple. Maxine is such a happy girl and Dhruv is a great guy to have as a friend. Five months after Maine & Druv’s engagement photo session in San Juan Capistrano, their wedding at The Langham Hotel in Pasadena was a very special affair that was enjoyed by all. The lush garden and lawn space in front of the hotel’s face offered a unique view and the event space captured the wedding’s theme and inspiration to a tee. Every detail was picture perfect, including the lush jewel draped chandelier hanging under a flowered arch at the altar.
Maxine and Dhruv blended traditional, cultural styles with more a more modern flair on their special day. One clear demonstration of this stylistic choice lies in the wardrobe of the wedding party. Maxine’s 9 bridesmaids were dressed in beautifully playful traditional dresses while the bride walked down the aisle in an American style white drop waist ball gown. However, the modern touches were present in the bridesmaid dresses too with an adorable ombré effect in hot pink. The cohesion worked well together and provided a beautiful pairing of old traditions and new styles.
Inside the venue at the reception the opulent space was perfect for the elegant, delicate celebration. With full chandeliers hanging over head everything felt rich, as if the bride and groom were marrying into royalty. The gold stands topped with full flower bouquet centerpieces matched the gold detail on the ceiling and the touches of glass and clear jewels pulled the beauty of the magnificent chandeliers down to the tables, almost mimicking their glory.
The dance floor featured a beautifully draped stage with clean white seating dripping with that iconic gold once more. A mock chandelier even quoted ties to the ceremony space. Overall, you could not picture a more perfect wedding or ceremony space and every detail was complimented by the ornate beauty of the Langham hotel in the background.
From the bride:
“Thank you Aaron for going above and beyond our expectations! You did an AMAZING job with our wedding video and it definitely showed! Thank you for your innovative and cute ideas and for all your hard work. We really appreciate it and we loved working with you! Looking forward to working with you in the future!”
From the groom:
“The video Aaroneye produced for my wedding was phenomenal! His ideas, implementation, execution, and production are second to none. My wife and I could not be happier with the effort that Aaron of Aaroneye put forth towards our big day. I highly recommend Aaron and I plan to use him again for other large events in my life. Great photographer, great studio, and a great guy to have as a friend. If I could give more than five stars I would.”
