I asked Claire a few questions about the company, find out what she had to say below.

What is Rosey Posey Creations?

We are a mother and daughter team who make floral headbands, crowns, combs and hair grips. After embellishing winter headbands with roses for my friends’ Christmas presents and receiving some lovely comments, we decided to take them to some craft fayres and set up a facebook page. We then went on to make a website and start spreading the word. About two months ago, we fell into the wedding world when we were asked to make some bespoke bridal crowns for a wedding photo shoot. We have since then acquired brides-to-be as customers and we cant wait to see their wedding photos!

Who is behind the company?

Myself and my mum. I look after the social media and website side of the business but we both make the headwear and supply them to the shops in our areas and our personal customers. I make creations for shops in London and Brighton and mum makes them for shops in Devon.

What makes you unique from other businesses out there?

We have not seen any other headbands on the high street which are made with such beautiful and realistic looking flowers. Every customer is important to us and we always give our creations with a handwritten and personal gift card. We also welcome them to come to us with their own ideas of what they want their headband to look like. We have just made 5 bespoke headbands for a group of girls who are going to V festival- they came to us with a selection of colours they loved and we made headbands to suit.

What is the best part of your job?

That it is enjoyable! We love designing and making our headbands and knowing that a headpiece that we have made is going to be worn by a bride on her big day makes us very happy!

What variety of products do you offer?

We offer a wide range of flowers, colours and types of headwear. Some customers come to us with a article that they want us to embellish- recent requests included a beret, trilby and a turban. We started 7 months ago just making winter headbands and we have since added to our list- floral headbands, crowns, fascinators, hair combs, grips, floral animal ears and flower garlands. Our creations can be suited to a large range of occasions such as weddings, holidays, seasons, christenings, parties and festivals.

Where are you based?

I am originally from Torquay in Devon where my mum still lives. I run my side of the business in London and my mum does so in Torquay.

Could you tell us a bit about postage and packing costs?

If our customers live in a suitable distance from where we live, we can organise free delivery. However we also post around the country and the prices are stated on our website. They start at 90p for small items such as hair grips, then from £3 and upwards for a headband or hair comb. We pride ourselves on quick service and delivery so always aim for your creation to be on your head within at least 4 days from the day of buying.

Finally what are your goals for the future?

We want to be able to continue making headpieces for our customers and fully immerse ourselves in the wedding world. We want to cater for the whole wedding party- the bride, the mother of the bride, bridesmaids and flower girls- we have something for everyone!
